These are far more cake than brownies. The chocolate flavor is light, so you
absolutely need the frosting. I'm probably going to try a chocolate buttercreme
next time.
This isn't the first time I've made this, and they're tasty for what they are,
but they're not the kind of rich, chocolatey brownies I'm really craving right
now.

I've never made a pot roast before. So, I decided that buying a new slow-cooker was
enough reason to try cooking a pot roast.
It was a bit more work than expected, but it turned out well. Mashed potatoes
and biscuits rounded out the meal, which is a departure from my usual
single-course dinners.

This is my favorite part of the Bristol Renaissance
Faire, even including the mushrooms. It's a
wonderful tasty and filling snack, and easy to boot. If only almonds weren't so
expensive, I'd have these all the time.

It's amazing how well the spices in these cookies work. Individually, the
spices are very strong flavors (smell them as you make these and you'll see).
Together with a bunch of sugar, it's a deliciously spicy cookie.
Like the snickerdoodles, these cookies require
a bit more work than chocolate chip cookies,
but they're worth it!

I don't remember where I found this recipe, but it's crazy delicious. Tequila,
lime, and salty, buttery shrimp combine together so well. This stuff is great
with rice or on a tortilla with cheese and sour cream.
